What do we need to bring to tryouts?

NTR Registration Confirmation, Medical release and Tryout form, Cash or Check made to Athletics Unlimited for $40.00.  

Does my daughter have to attend both tryout dates?

No, your daughter does not have to attend both tryout days, we offer 2 days because we know that all of the clubs are trying out and if we offer two you can make at least one of them.  Also, if your daughter is nervous and doesn’t have the best tryout on the first day she can come back more relaxed and also she knows what to expect on the 2nd day.  

Is it a one-time tryout fee or do I pay for both tryout days?

At Dallas Juniors it is a one-time tryout fee, your $40 pays for one or both of the days.  

When will the offer be made for my daughter?

We will make an offer right after the tryout on both days. We will offer up to 80% of our team on the first day.  

What if we don’t receive an offer right away?

Come back the second day and get a second look, you’ve already paid your tryout fee so just grab your tryout number and get back on the court.  

How much time do we have until we make a commitment?

You have up to 72 hours to give us an answer, but be considerate of others who are waiting to hear from us and let us know if you are waiting to hear from another club or not.  

SEASON

When will practices start for the season?

Practices will start the week after Thanksgiving.  

Does Dallas Juniors practice during the holidays?

Our National teams will practice during the Christmas holiday to prepare for the Tour/TCS Qualifier but we will work around holiday travels.
  
What is the cost for the season?

The cost for the upcoming season depends on the team your on: 11’s-13’s $1600, 14’s $1900, 15’s-18’s $2200 This does not include Travel Expenses.  

Does this include uniform?

Yes. How many practices does this include? Each Team will receive 2 practices a week: 12’s-13’s 1 ½ hours each 14’s-17’s 2 hours each.  

Where will most of the tournaments be played?

In the Dallas/Fort Worth and surrounding areas. 

What happens if we have a tournament and a Sunday practice?

You will practice on your other regularly scheduled practice day and time and if you are having an upcoming tournament your coach may schedule a make-up practice or a scrimmage.
